XPOGames.com invites flash developers to create the next big game!

XPOGames is adding a new big prize, "Free art for your game", to the XPOser 2008 contest, a flash game development contest where developers can win $18,000 in cash & prizes.

July 21st 2008 - During the XPOser 2008 contest, hundreds of ideas for games and thousands of E-mails were received from flash developers asking to take these ideas and turn them into reality. As a result of the E-mails received, the company behind XPOGames.com has decided to launch a new category that they've named "Games we'd like to see", where users can rate their enthusiasm for the posted game outlines and developers can offer themselves and their skills to create the game.

At this point in the XPOser contest, the winners of this category are expected to receive "Free art for your game", compliments of XPOGames.com. This is done in-order to assist game developers in realizing a game and exposing it while sweeping all the profits. Today there are over 15 game outlines with thousands of votes, waiting to turn from idea to reality under the new category.

For eligibility, one must join the XPOser 2008 contest and submit at-least one game, then contact XPOGames.com via E-mail @ info@xpogames.com and explain why they think that they deserve to win. The most compelling E-mail will award its author with "Free art for your game" in-addition to $18,000 worth of cash & prizes, sponsored by XPOGames.com.

The creative division at XPOGames.com will continue to think-up outlines for games, and invites all game developers but also gamers of all kinds to offer ideas for upcoming flash games which for some unknown reason have not been developed yet. Games that will be developed under the "Games we'd like to see" category will be featured on the XPOGames.com homepage and will award their developers with a-lot of exposure.

New website offers the highest prize ever for independent game developers

Even before its launch, XPOGames.com, the new gaming based social network is already setting a precedent: A contest for flash game developers offers cash & prizes in the sum of $18,000, with a $6,500 cash prize for the winner in the first category - the highest cash prize awarded in an independent game development contest, ever.

For some time now there's a gentle buzz throughout the internet that revolves around the upcoming launch of XPOGames.com, the new upcoming flash gaming based social network. Rumors say that the new network is due to introduce a number of unprecedented features in the worlds of gaming and social networks. XPOGames.com has made its first announcement ever today, when it had announced the launch of a new contest for flash game developers, the XPOser game development contest for the year 2008.

May 22nd 2008 The XPOGames website - http://www.xpogames.com, has announced the new game development contest: The XPOser contest 2008. The website that has yet to launch will offer a gaming based social network. In-addition to casual gamers, the social network will offer a unique connection between gamers, game developers, graphic designers and audio producers, to create their own joint development group and work together towards creating the ultimate game.

The contest presents 3 categories in which developers can compete: The grand-prize, $6,500 in cash, will be awarded to the winner of the best exclusive game category for XPOGames.com. The winning game will also be featured on the website's home-page during its launch period. The first runner-up in this category will take home both game consoles: Sony Playstation 3 and Nintendo Wii, and the 2nd runner-up will leave the contest carrying a Nintendo Wii game console.

The contest's second category will allow developers that have games that they've developed in the past and were already published and sponsored to compete for the best non-exclusive game to win 1 out of 10 prizes. The judging of this category will be held by a panel of certified judges and the winners in places 1 to 10 will be awarded sums of cash ranging from $4,500 to $100 in cash.

The contest's third category will award the game developer that will upload the largest amount of games by the end of the contest, the 11th of August, 2008, with $1,500 in cash, in-addition, of course, to increasing that developer's chances of winning the other categories. A mid-contest phase will be held at the 26th of June, 2008, and will award the developer who's uploaded the largest amount of games with a Nintendo Wii game console.

The first 100 developers to submit 3 games or more to the contest will automatically be awarded a limited-edition 1gb, 2gb and 4gb XPOGames.com USB flash-sticks. In an announcement published by XPOGames.com, it is reminded to game developers that the network co-operates with some of the world's leading game companies that will be browsing the website and recruiting potential developers from within its ranks, and so even the participants that did not win the contest may find the job of their dreams.

In-order to participate in the contest, one must register at XPOGames.com, download the XPOGames toolkit and integrate it into his/her game(s).
