The contest

Greetings independent game developers, development companies and gamers of all kinds, welcome to XPOGames.com's $18,000 XPOser game development contest for the year 2008.

The contest is split into 3 categories, awarding a total of 15 winners with a subtotal of $18,000 in cash & prizes. To win:

• Upload your games (already-developed and sponsored) and compete in the non-exclusive category to win $6,700 in cash.
• Upload an exclusive game (new, unpublished and unsponsored) and compete in the exclusive category to win $6,500 in cash, a Sony Playstation 3 and two Nintendo Wii game consoles. The game will also be featured on XPOGames.com's home-page for the duration of the website's launch period.
• Upload the highest number of games (a total of all your submissions) and compete in the quantity category to win $1,500 in cash.


Also, get free USB flash sticks for uploading your games:
• Upload 3 or more games and get a free limited edition, 1 gigabyte XPOGames USB flash stick. You may raise your submission count to 10 or 20 and receive free 2gb or 4gb USB flash sticks.
